Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Drivezi.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Drivezi's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations of India. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.
These terms apply to all users of the platform, including car owners, chauffeurs, and any other visitors to our website or mobile application. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Drivezi Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India, with its registered office in Kolkata, West Bengal.
2. Description of Service
Drivezi provides a platform that enables car owners to coordinate trips with their personal chauffeurs. Our services include:
• Trip Scheduling: Calendar-based interface for planning and managing trips
• Driver Coordination: Real-time communication and schedule sharing with chauffeurs
• AI-Powered Features: Intelligent recommendations for departure times and fuel management
• Navigation Integration: Seamless connection with mapping services for route guidance
Drivezi is a coordination platform. We do not employ chauffeurs directly nor provide transportation services ourselves. Drivezi acts as an intermediary platform as defined under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
3. Eligibility
To use Drivezi services, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of India or have legal authority to enter contracts under Indian law
• Not be barred from receiving services under the laws of India
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
For chauffeurs, you must additionally possess a valid driving licence issued under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and any other permits required under applicable state regulations.
4. User Accounts
To use Drivezi, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000. You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information remains current and accurate
• Providing valid identification documents as may be required for KYC compliance
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, Indian law, or for any other reason at our sole discretion after providing reasonable notice.
5. User Responsibilities
For Car Owners:
• Provide accurate trip information including addresses and timing
• Communicate schedule changes promptly to your chauffeur
• Ensure your vehicle meets all legal requirements under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988
• Maintain valid insurance and registration documents
• Treat your chauffeur with respect and professionalism
For Chauffeurs:
• Maintain valid driving licence and any required permits under state transport regulations
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988
• Arrive on time and communicate any delays
• Keep trip information confidential
• Not operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
• Use the service for any purpose unlawful under Indian law
• Share false or misleading information
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or personal data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code (prohibited under IT Act, 2000)
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Use the service to coordinate illegal transportation activities
• Publish or transmit any content prohibited under Section 67 of the IT Act, 2000
• Violate any applicable laws including the Indian Penal Code, 1860
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Drivezi, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and the compilation thereof, are the exclusive property of Drivezi Technologies Private Limited and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, Trade Marks Act, 1999, Patents Act, 1970, and other applicable intellectual property laws of India.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from our service without our express written permission.
8. Payment Terms
All payments through Drivezi are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) through RBI-compliant payment gateways. By making payments:
• You agree to pay all applicable charges including GST and other taxes as per Indian tax laws
• You acknowledge that Drivezi may collect TDS where applicable under the Income Tax Act, 1961
• Refunds, if any, will be processed as per our refund policy and applicable RBI guidelines
• You consent to receive electronic invoices and receipts as valid tax documents under the GST Act
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Drivezi shall not be liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Damages arising from your reliance on any information obtained through the service
• Actions or omissions of chauffeurs coordinated through our platform
• Force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or pandemic situations
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Drivezi in the twelve months preceding the claim or INR 10,000, whichever is lower.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Drivezi Technologies Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:
• Your use of and access to the service
• Your violation of any term of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any Indian law or third-party right
• Any claim that your use of the service caused damage to a third party
• Any accident, injury, or damage occurring during trips coordinated through the platform
11. Intermediary Status
Drivezi operates as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. As an intermediary:
• We are not liable for third-party content or user-generated content
• We will remove unlawful content upon receiving actual knowledge or court/government order
• We maintain a Grievance Officer as required under the IT Rules
• We cooperate with law enforcement agencies as required under Indian law
12. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service or any features within the service. We shall provide reasonable notice of any material changes through the app or email.
We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:
• The Indian Contract Act, 1872
• The Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules
• The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
• The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation in accordance with the Mediation Act, 2023.
14. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and IT Rules, 2021, any grievances or complaints may be addressed to:

The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and endeavour to resolve them within 15 days of receipt. If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum or courts of competent jurisdiction.
